Lamps of new generation.
Everyone who uses uv-curing, knows the problem (especially in the label printing industry) when by the working lamp, inks don’t polymerise along the web edges up to the end, especially by full output .
Its reason is the erosion of electrodes that gives darkening round an electrode zone. The free molecules of tungsten are settled on a glass surface. The darkening can be 2-3 cm in width on each end, therefore the greatest possible width of the press gradually becomes less. Regarding this it’s necessary to change the lamps earlier, though in the centre of a lamp capacity of uv-radiation still is more than 75 %.
UV-Technik uses the technology «Everclear» in production of uv-lamps (technology of halogen cycle). It prevents the glas from darkening and sedimentation of free molecules on a lamp flask. It can extend the lifetime of uv-lamp approximately till 4000 hours.
How does it work?
The answer consists in special structure of the halogen put on glass round electrodes. By the activity of uv-lamps the released molecules of halogen are connected with tungsten particles which are vaporizing from electrodes. Halogen molecules become the "conveyors" for tungsten molecules back to an electrode.
However the given technology is effective only when the lamp works in a normal temperature mode and by correct parameters of uv-system working of uv-system as a whole.
Process of regeneration of electrodes on the given technology gives result:
- Life-time of the uv-lamp on all working surface.
- Decreased capacity of radiation less, than on 25 % after 3000-4000 working hours, instead of the last 2000 hours.
- Decrease in annual expenses for acquisition of uv-lamps.
- Reduction of time by replacement of lamps.
The given technology of halogen cycle isn’t new. It was successfully used many years by manufactures of electrolamps, especially for projectors and headlights of cars. The halogen cycle gives guarantee that the lamp will be transparent much longer time because all vaporized material is transported back to an filament.
Guarantee Conditions of UVH-Lamps
The guarantee period applies only to the lamp, which don’t have any external contamination and it must have been appropriately cooled. It is normal to have a radiation drop within the respective uv-range of 25 % compared with new. For all lamps 3 cycles of inclusion – deenergizings during 8 hour labour shifts are applicable a maximum. No guarantee applies to inappropriate mechanical, transportation or handling breakage.
The following guarantee periods apply within 3 years of the production date
